If they take your passport for stamping, they will keep your I-94 which you filled out during your previous visit. It is your old I-94 which they require while allowing you back into states with in 30 days of leaving.

 i-94 as in nepal to US aauda ko i-94 or the one that is attached with i-797 approval notice?
