Replacement of 1950 Treaty with India….At what cost????

It was nice to read about Indian and Nepalese government's new agreement to replace 1950 treaty. This 1950 treaty is considered as "treaty with inequality" where Nepal has to loose everything to India. Because of this treaty, economic and social development of Nepal was hampered which resulted Nepal to fall behind in terms of economic development comparing to its neighboring countries such as India and China. Hopefully, new "revised treaty" will be drafted with careful consideration where both nations will benefit from each other and create opportunities to the people in both sides. Replacement of 1950 treaty should be considered a "great success" for Nepalese people and to the Maoist led government. But we need to think critically about this new agreement between India and Nepal's government of replacing 1950 treaty. At what "cost" are we getting this deal? Are we going to loose lot more from this new treaty than we did through 1950 treaty?

India gives nothing for free to its neighboring countries including to Nepal. History has proved ...................................
