no quiero-Assuming I read your question right(the part in Nepali font, I got some help), here's my wild guess.
Maybe the apple was not on top of the tree; it was lying somewhere on the ground so the police picked it up and ate it?
and I'm thinking of a riddle, I heard from my cousins, about locking and unlocking either the elephant or the monkey in 3 steps or something but neither can I remember the question right nor the answer.
Anyways, here's the next one:
1. A bird was flying south. On her way, she poops but her poop doesn't land on the ground. How come?
