Security beefed up after blast at VP Jha’s residence

KATHMANDU, Aug 17 - Security was beefed up in the Chabahil area in the capital Sunday evening following a blast near the house of Vice-President Paramananda Jha at Gaurighat.
A person was injured in the blast and was rushed to the Birendra Army hospital for treatment.
Police said the socket bomb was detonated at the backend of the house.
