Jonny, since you have worked in the fortune 100 company, I think it should not be that difficult for you to find a similar job in some mediocre company. You must have a good resume by this time. Why don't you search for some small companies and check with them if they sponsor your greencard? I would try searching those companies instead of going through consultancies. Probably I would not ask for high salary, instead I would ask them to sponsor the greencard.
