Lato, very optimistic there.  Are you long the US economy or are you long the US equities markets?  There is a HUGE difference.  I don't think anyone can afford to be long the US economy in the Short Run with GM and Ford needing a bailout, Indymac already facing the slum-levels, Freddie and Fannie and ALL major IBs in the doldrums...In the long run, well things are still uncertain.  How would the Iran scenario play out?  How would OPEC's stance play out?  What are the technicals?  Nothing looks good here, son.

As for shorting Gold, you're lucky there.  Its testing its support right now and if it goes below $885, then consider yourself in a winning position (until it tests 875).
