wow quite impressive...u guys had chance to meet buffet..
me myself just avg IT guy, i have too much interests in technology... and i dont have kids so i have not much idea when he says that. but he is one really smart guy..so i respect him..
lot of traders, investment bankers, also maybe IT people seem to have issues with work-life balance..
i am guessing u are facing similar dilemna as many of us... i work 50 hours week average and its hard for me sometimes.. but i think it is probably worse for many others because market can react while u are sleeping..
anwyay abt trading, overall just like most people i have lost money lately, since i started trading(6 months ago), i am down 6% overall. not your fault or anything. i made some big $$$ and also lost some big $$$ specially trying to bottom fish.
1 thing i have learnt from u is to buy into your position 1/3 at a time.. i used to buy the whole thing at once.. and that led to big losses.
