LOL bro growing up I heard so many stories of the kitchkandi or kitchkanya. But one stands out because when i was in 8th grade and we were all eating dinner in the dinning room in hostel. And we had to eat in silence while teachers roamed around all of a sudden the silence was intruppted by the dinninghall door voilentlyand loudly openened by our school cook Hari baje. He ran past us and went to thw wash area and poured like three jugs of water on his whole body and was shivering. It created a comotion and the teachers asked him what was going on....???? and he yelled KITCH KANYA KITCH KANYA ........and pointed out side the wicow towards the cormn fields behind our hostel dorm. He said he was comming to the dining hall taking a shortcut and all of a sudden he saw a woman in Red sari making jingling sounds comming towards him and was like moving very fast and called his name.....so he ran for his life... and saying that he started to cry and shiver.

MAN WE WERE SOOOOO SCARED because that was behind our dorm.....That night most of us couldnt sleep and slept two to three in one bed and still we were so scared, worse for me because my bed was near the window facing the corn fields...LOL and the whole night we were praying calling eachother making sure you werent the only one awake. WELL next morning the story spread and to make the story short later the week we found that... it was Thapa sirs newly married wife was also taking a short cut to go to the shop and was in a hurry so she was running with all her CHURA and neclaces and ornaments with red sari making the jingling noise and she saw our cook and stopped and called a hari baje kata bata........as soon as she said that....he ran for his life and to the dining hall and thats where this story begins LOL........that created quite a stirr and laughter.
