Shorncliffe is the centre for the BFBS Gurkha Radio which broadcasts 24 hours of programmes for a more native language speaking audience worldwide. We have links with Kathmandu and Brunei since November 2003 and January 2004 respectively.
Currently, BFBS Gurkha Radio UK broadcasts live to Gurkhas in Shorncliffe, Bramcote, Catterick, Maidstone, Aldershot, Sandhurst, Brecon, York and Hullavington. We also broadcast live via satellite to Afghanistan, Cyprus, Iraq and Kosovo.
