Well, SS, Take this scenario:

Say Indians give him assylum, what happens then?? Nepali People will think that India was behind this thug all the time, who cheated us, exploited us and killed many of our fellow country men. Then, Nepalese will simply start attacking against indian interests in Nepal and it will be a loss of face before the nepali people.

So, its the same for US or Brits. Gyane's usefulness is finished, so the imperialists dont want to associate with him any more, because , if they did, they will loose more..
