Lets give credit where is due::: Boston played awesome defense towards the end. They wanted it more and they had it. The buck stops there. I have seen it myriad times, when Kobe becomes a jump shooter and a ball hogger in the forth quarer, very rarely he shines like a true champion or lakers win .... Having said that, WE (as in true lakers fans) need not be worried. The series is just a game old...we'll see in the next couple of games what the lakers legacy is really made of. In retrospect, I have seen Lakers being mauled by jazz in the jordan led era and then mauled again by the fundamentally boring Duncan and irritant ginboli past the championship years. This year wasn't even supposed to be lakers...the fairytale of going into the finals is an unbelievable feat in itself for the lakers (yes:: sounding lil defensive here), but the pressure's all on boston. If the big three can't deliver a championship this year, they will NEVER WIN IT AGAIN....for lakers will come back as four headed monsters next year and we'll have next year, and the year after that and the year after that to cheer on and on and on ... and we'll see who the FAIRWEATHER fans of beantown will be supporting then ;)... AX Bro, are you back? I think we need to deport you from LA to SA, so that u can recruit some young players ;):)...For me, beating SPURS is the sweetest motivation already not to retire from watching NBA :).. Breathless watching playoffs :)
