KATHMANDU, Feb 6 - On the second day of the Maoist-called banda, suspected Maoists shot dead a taxi driver in Gwarko, Lalitpur, on Monday. Jitendra Shrestha, the taxi driver, collapsed inside his taxi, Ba 1 Ja after he sustained bullets at 6.30 pm and was rushed to B&B hospital nearby, according to eyewitness. He succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital. According to doctors involved in the treatment, driver Shrestha, an undergraduate student, was shot in the middle of his chest.
