Yeah letter of recommendation (LOR) is just a formality to get you through a admission process but I wouldn't go this far making a fake reference letters.  MRITYUNJAYA how could you say they are never going to contact the referees?  I had many friends applying for grad school whose referees were directly contacted through email/phone by their major professor to inquire about them.  Dillagi prepare your resume and you can always request any professor (related to your major) if not the ones who you had for your Bacherlor's degree at TU.... they won't turn you down for such a good cause.  If you provide your referees with your resume it helps them a lot to write about you and yes don't be hesitant to inflate your resume little bit.
