Journalism is neither about best rating/worst rating nor about entertaining/boring.
It is about delivering unbiased news based on facts and supplementing it with views from, subject matter experts if you will, guests who are provided enough freedom to express themselves without the host rushing to utter soon-to-be-patented "SHUT UP!" pet-line.
If you are considering the deciding factors that I have just despised above then I think you are still under the Jerry Springer Show hangover back from the 90s.
