We Nepalis have a habit of critisizing everyone, if someone gets attention for their work, then we just critisize them without even understanding about them or their work and no respect whotsoever for their age or their contributions.

As a former employee of Himalmedia (not in Journalism though), i have high respect for the Dixits and also CK lal. I feel that they are one media who has the quality and an environment to grow. At least from what i know these people are the ones who love Nepal and like to dedicate their lives to Nepal. Remember both the dixits were very successful in US in their career and they chose to return to Nepal and establish a media house. The media is having its own problems as any other business house in Nepal but for me they have been my role models.

If i can ever do what they have done to the country, then i would think i am a very successful person.

I love the language of CK Lal whether it is English or Nepal. Actually i used to read his articles in Kathmandu Post and had a very high opinion about him(thought he was young and handsome Lol). When i joined Himalmedia, i was like where is CK Lal, i want to see him. When i actually saw him, i was really amazed. Well he is the simplest man you can come across and he never gives you a vibe that he is a so so journalist of Nepal whereas all this newcomers will be walking with bigger that themselves tag around them.

However, again i could be biased because i worked there but seriously working with Kunda Dixit was the one of the best learning of my life so far.
