Even Maoists were confident that they were enlisted as Terrorist Organization by the US and recently the first ever meeting of US Ambassador Nancy Powell with Prachanda made similar remarks about removing them from the terrorist list or so.

What could be the truth? Is US pissed off due to Maoists win or they were never put in terrorist list before? Or US was spreading rumors following India's move to treat Maoists as terrorist organization long time ago?
