I would buy new one and not to worry 6-7 year about breaking down. When it sarts braking down( after 5-6 years), or if you need to replace ie timing belt, water pump, or any big replacements, start looking for another car andtrade old one still get 4-5K for your car.  buying a used car is a gamble, it might break down next day. hope it helps.
