In 1977, Indira Gandhi (Congress [I]) had miserably lost the election, and Bharatiya Janata Party 's Morarji Desai became PM. In next couple of years, BJP lost its grip on power, and Indira Gandhi came to power with more maturity, and more votes.

Nepali Congress will cease to exist, it will survive in next election. Only it needs is reorganization, and reformatting (computer language) or reset.
