Ya I also think that Congress is going to sweep this election. Even the
total of communist vote is much lower than the Congress (democrat)
vote. It was never a case in Kathmandu before. Isn't it a time to see
this development as growing "anti-communism" in Nepal? Everyone used
to think that Congress will have the worst performance in this election
but trends are quite opposite. People are so very much fed-up with
Communist false agenda and forced imposition of their failed ideology
to people.
Anyways, witnessing much ups and downs in their lifetime, people of this generation seem to have got some enlightenment from the past and see a bright future ahead which embraces its own Nepali kind of culture and polity, not a foreign, imported ideologies like Maoism or Marxism (I like Marxism to some extent while having ethnographic study, but still, its full of self-contradiction) Communism or even purely Western and Euro-Centric so called "democracy". We Nepalis are to develop our own "Loktantra".
