Distinct Tibet

Despite the international community's acquiescence to Chinese claims,
Tibetans have a long and distinct ethnic, linguistic, cultural and religious identity.
The insecurities, arrogance and barbarism of the Chinese reflected in the invasion, occupation and brutal suppression of Tibet only confirms this.

India's rushed and very public nodding with China's claims over Tibet, its repeated bowing that Tibet is an "internal" Chinese matter is in character

India has failed to reclaim its own territories occupied for decades by China
Moreover, Chinese incursions into additional Indian territoriess claimed by China are so routine they rarely get a mention in India
India is unwilling and perhaps unable to stand for its own rights

The Vietnamese, who may be said to culturally share more with the Chinese, too were occupied by the Chinese
For over a 1000 years
That failed to legitimize or sustain China's claims to Vietnam
Any illusions the Chinese may have harbored was erased by Vietnam's routes of the Chinese army

Shameless Nepali pandering
The unwarranted and consistently brutal assaults by Nepali authorities on nuns, monks and other peaceful Tibetan demonstrators is second only to the barbarism of the Chinese.
Aside from the Chinese invaders, no other country has been as eagerly brutal toward  peaceful demonstrators seeking merely to draw attention to the barbaric occupation and repression of Tibet as Nepal has been.
Are Nepalis such shameless panderers for the handouts from China?
Have Nepalis so soon and easily set aside lessons of their own ongoing struggles for franchise?

Such eagerness not to offend the Chinese, to demonstrate Nepali subservience to the Chinese is ... PATHETIC
It's embarrassing even to the casual observer
