The Nepali police don't discriminate - those dhedes just beat up anyone they can get their hands on... Its sad that the lama monks are on the receiving end. I don't know the details this time but mostly its the protesting group that provokes the police with dhuga mudha, blocking the road, and burning the tires and stuff...

I support the rights to protest but one should do so by not disturbing the rights of other fellow human beings. The same goes for the Tibetans - protest but in a civil way.

But then again, what do I know.
