Bash, there is no doubt that Kobe has among the biggest heart in the NBA and he is simply the best scoring machine we've ever seen (since Wilt...but unfortunately never did I ever witness Wilt's game except for the classic reruns on TV where the bugger was also an under the basket, post-playing maniac.  He was lucky they had no 3 sec rules then).

However, Kobe will NOT get the MVP as the NBA is a growing global franchise and they want to associate themselves with the clean-cut, All American, loved by all type of MVP.  After the rape allegations that Kobe went through, its like he's convicted of a crime even though the courts exonerated the dude (He should've settled that off the court even though he IMO was not guilty).  All in all, though not deserving but a great talent nevertheless, look out for LeBron getting the honors this year!
