On a more serious note, love (any kind) is indeed an exaggerated perception of reality and pretty natural. It’s all in neurochemicals.

And there is really no essential difference between the passion (an important component of love) of a person IN LOVE (nature exaggerating for him) and the passion of a person SEEKING LOVE (exaggerating for himself).
