The cabinet set 12 percent
free energy from the Upper Karnali and 21.9 percent (88 MW) free energy
from the 402 MW Arun III as base benefits for Nepal.
WHY? 12% not 21.9%
Upper Karnali as well as Arun III are being developed to export power to India.
Hey why not a project for Nepal not to export to India.If Indians can pay so Nepalese can.Nepalese will pay for electricity or may be why not Nepal sell energy to India??
