wow.............looks like we grew up in the same ERA...........I was in school around 4 or 5 grade.......Im not sure......but I was pretty young.......I remember the days where you were not allowed to wear dingo boots, have long hair, pierce your ears, wear mini skirts, speak against the king,Kill a cow, throw garbage in the streets, no naked bars, no disco or gambling for nepalese alowed ....just for foriegners, no maobadi, no careless driving, no indian land enroach ment, no ycl, no dividing of madheshi and pahades...and many more....

school;s were developing.....healthcare was getting better...............Nepal was being declared the most peaceful country in the world................innocent nepalese werent dragged out of their homes and schools to join the commie cause.............students werent given guns......people were free to travell the world and walk proud as Nepalese............did you get a gun ...I didnt. Ive heard that now a days they get a gun at schools ....abducted from classrooms ..guns in hand...few weeks of training......straight in front line against the army and police...................man thats sooo cool..........why didnt the King do that???? man I wish he did that and given all guns instead of strict uniform schools.....culture educations and SLC and colleges.........he should just have put us in the army............... I dont remember standing line for water.......was there a loadshedding???// sorry my memory is a litle bad.......................I remember traffic police controlling traffic....now a days one incident .....whole kathmandi bandh...............thats the way to be...united drivers.....

then king got thrown away.......I remember people calling ....Bire chor desh chhod.....pampha devi murda baad..............hence came democracy...................it didnt effect my life much but .....I got long hair, leather jackets................Girls, disco, party.........trying to be kool ..LOL you know.................Oh what a difference kathmandu became after the king got down............every thing got like free.....democracy................Kathmandu .........wow the transformation.............live bands. drink in public.......source force and you can even kill anyone............then I heard a group of unsatisfied bunch enter the jungle angry with the peoples government.............werent armed but were dangerous looters.........got lost in school work and life caught on..........SLC college............heard maoists were the name given to the rebels in the jungle................dad takes me on a Nepal tour...........had the best experience of my life...realized how beautiful nepal was and how poor the villagers lived.......my dad told me .....son just that you were born in the city and had the luxury to study in a boarding school and a privilaged life...I want you to see how the rest of Nepal live and it opened my eyes that outside Kathmandu.....life pretty much sucked yet How beautiful Nepal was and how unique. ............came to america....MISSED Nepal soooo much.......HUGE METAL english song listener in Nepal......................but In America listeed to only Nepali songs,,,,,even the log geet made me happy because it reminded me of home....worked hard and paid school and rent..........SAD news King and royal family wiped out...........whole Nepal mourns....wait a sec.........(birechor desh chod..pampha devi//......) well people shaved head like mourning for their father.............Maoist become stronger and rest everyone knows whats happening.............................New king...............people hate him ....reason SON........I think again.....I was a bad teenager.....did people hate my dad...........but Ive becoime good ...I work hard....will they judge me for who I was in my teens..................My dad is proud of me now.........so is my family...but I dont know about the rest ...maybe one day they will see me for who I am now than who I was...............
