No encroachment in Susta: Mahato
Kantipur Report
KAPILVASTU, Jan 9 - Chairman of Nepal Sadbhawana Party (NSP) Rajendra Mahato said Tuesday it was irrelevant to protest against Indian encroachment on Nepali territory such as at Susta of Nawalparasi district, as there is no clear evidence of encroachment. "I don't think there is encroachment at Susta," he said. "This is just a political ploy of the seven parties to detach the Madhesi people from the ongoing Madhes movement," he said while talking to journalists here in Kapilvastu. Mahato had arrived here to form his party's unarmed youth wing "Madhes Raksha Bahini" (Madhes Security Brigade). "Raising a 100-year-old issue at this moment is simply a result of prejudiced mentality," he added.
