There is another thread that urges not to post items in this thread, and I wanted to post following text to make sure that it is read at both threads.

If I am supposed to select Paras (killed 5 innocent nepalis) vs Prachanda (killed 15,000 Nepalis), I will go for Paras: it is called dilemma. With current drama of Political disintegration in Nepal, it seems I should go for continuation of Kingship in Nepal, bhalai kina nahos Gyanendra was bizzare, Paras was a killer, and they are far better than Maoists. Who is less worst, right?

Once Gyanendra (=king) is thrown out, and Nepal is turned into a Republic state, I can feel more chaos to follow, and it will never return to Normalcy as many illeterate and/or over ambitious Nepalis would feel.

If Nepal becomes Republic, Maoist will turn "Mountain Part" of Nepal into Cambodia of 1970s. Since Maoist don't have control over Terai, and Terai will be controlled by non-Maoists with the help of India (because India won't like commies, bhalai kina nahos they used Maoists to arrive here), and it will help Maoists to rule over Pahad portraying southern fighters as traitors, themselves as messaih /saviors / nationalist Nepalis.

Please note that, here, souther Terai will fight against Commies in Pahad does not mean to pin point the currently referred Terai-Madhesh Bashis in that group, but I mean those who don't like to be a commie, will join forces in Terai to fight back commies. It will turn out to be a civil war like North-South Vietnaam, and the commies will empty the NRB reserves, and turn Pahad Nepal like North Korea for sometime, and finally, Nepal will become Bhutan (the security under the control of India) just the way Vietnamis kicked out Polpot from Cambodia.

Then, Nepalis will return back to their normal life where Bharatiya Gulams will be holding the political power in Nepal. Nepal will be a country in name, but with no independent decision making power.

I was a republic supporter during 2006 upheaval in Kathmandu, but with changing political scenario, I have realized that Republic is not a right choice for Nepal. Kingship in Nepal is not Gyanenedra or Paras alone, it has a history that goes beyond PN Shah ..... Mallas, Lichibi .... all of them tried to bring great things to Nepal, and certainly, a few were bad, and Gyanendra and Paras might be bad, but they are not as bad as Prachanda.

Jai Nepal.
