hahahaha....
agree. kamal thapa is one of the powerful orators in nepali politics. in regards of ability to defend his points and  be articulate with his explanations, i will personally put him in top 3 in present nepalo political scene-- right after sher bahadur deuba (hahaha... kidding )

i think sometimes it's imperative in nepali politics, in any politics for that matter, to be able to talk the talk than walk the walk. we nepalese are stupid. if that's too offending a word then i will say "innocent". yeah let's face it, we are innocent/naive. and this is true for the most part even when some of the kathmanduites and those who have migrated to different parts of the globe think otherwise.

prachanda said: follow me and i will make your dreams come true. we followed him. this is not a unique case though. we've been doing that since time immemorial. right from P.N. Shah to Junga bahadur, Mahendra to Marich man, girija to prachanda, we've been following them all. now i see some of us, in utter discomfort due to the ongoing political crisis, want to follow Kamal Thapa hahaha. they find his thought process more convincing. What's the big news? we need to see someone's back to be able to move forward, no? we cannot move by ourselves. we are crippled by our own lack of  judgment.

people who believe in talking rather than actions are futile. they are friction to progression but people who say one thing but end up doing the opposites are misleading. they are even more dangerous. i put Kamal thapa in the second coterie. not only they do change colors cunningly but they do it mischievously.

someone said thapa is at least not a flip-flopper. LOL! it's got to be the joke of this decade. the only thing he's being loyal for ever since he was born is monarchy. but for it's longevity and for his personal welfare, he had done numerous switching from one government to the other be it NC+RPP coalition, UML+RPP coalition and the likes. just for the record, he was tagged "whore" by the then politicians and press and other media.

now that his master and his authority has been beset by all, he's playing the final card. let it be understood. he says: "nepal will not be able to cope up with the republic structure." why? give me one good reason, will you? if 28 million nepalese cannot save nepal from disintegrating, how can a ceremonial monarch with the likes of gyan bahadur or paras do it? you think we are blind? why you tend to forget people's power. we, if unified, are the greatest of all forces. we don't need to bank on CEREMONIAL MONARCHY to save our sovereignty. period. may kamal thapa and his suppporters understand this. sooner the better. amen
