Hmm .. I agree to you partially.
I get annoyed when i see hoardings / even commercials , making SPLELING errors. I thought and still do think exactly the way you're doing now.
On blogs, i take it a little different though.
Its the more you write, the more you attain clarity in grammar / expression. And of course , writing a comment on a blog or a forum is a good way to express yourself, though most of the times, you cannot. And anyway, most of us tend to skip over write-ups/comments that are not clear on expressions than misunderstand the writers' brevity.
