As the Buddha said, "he who helps others shouldn't expect anything in return."  Help people from within and you've done your part of the deal.  Apply this principle to your life and see how easy your life would be.  Why even worry and piss yourself out on someone you never knew or never ever will?  Its their loss that they lost someone like you who had only the good intentions (in this case: provide help in finding a job).
