First a very happy and wonderful Dasain and Tihar to everyone.

Week 7.

Yes, last week (6), the Bears lost to the Vikes (yikes), and the bottomed out Saints beat the Hawks. Crazy week that was. Rest of the schedule looked normal except that Panthers also ended up beating the cardinals. Afterall Cardinals are just as same as ever before. Just some weird fun (or sufferings), they were having, as most NFL teams do in the beginning. The west in both the conferences looks pretty bad in shape. All you western fans, sucks eh! Especially me, I am a Denver Fan and I live in Seattle. What can we do, when the teams are playing poor ball games. Like Dr. Z from CNN suggested, Denver is better off hiring some Sumo wrestlers in the Defensive Line.

And yes, NFC west is still cursed to have a below average team sent to the playoffs. I doubt any of them are going to finish 9-7 or better. They might just top off with 8-8 and go ahead. And the AFC west might just share that curse with them. I am gonna have to sarifice a goat to make Broncos a better team and (as my initial) hope them to win all the way. Dasain Dreams - Fly Kites, Swings, Broncos win. hmnnn... I need some vicodine now.

Did you guys see Brady play. I have no doubt after that offense he produced, Pats to be the SuperBowl team. I guess we just gonna have to wait 2 more weeks to figure out which one of the two (Indianapollis), will be in the Bowl game. Last week, we saw two 5-0 play, and in two weeks we might see two undefeated teams play again, unless the Coltss loose to the Jags this Monday. The only challenge for the Pats are the Skins next week, but you never know the Dolphins. Sometimes, the stars just click on their sides (somehow weirdly), and might turn the dice to their favors. But, Brady is perfect, who had better numbers than any numbers in the NFL and NCAA last week. Crazy eh!

Reiteration again: We have the best quarterback duo in the same season in the history of the NFL. And if you put Favre (who is giving the best performance of his career), we have three. Amazing season this is.

Anyways, it was an average pick week for all of us. The best finish was 10-3 by CaMoFlaGeD and yours truly. There were only two loosing picks out of 16, at least, that was better than the previos week. mostPickedByUs was at 9-4.

Overall, the other top threes are closing in against utousucks. Only 4 points separate 1 and 2. FYI, the top score in CNN's Peter King Challenge is 66 among 40,000+ players. Our leaderboard (62 points) would have been in top 100, and our top three (57+) is better than King's picks (56). Let's go ahead and beat 'em, boys.

Now, week 8 is by far the funniest (i think) of all the weeks we have seen in the past.

Funny game 1. Cards(3-3) v Skins(3-2), because Skins are a better team with better record, but if they were to be in the playoffs, the Cards as a division champ would go to the next level but not the Skins. Even if the Cards loose, but the Seahawks also loose (not gonna happen against the Rams), Cards still has the division lead. Skins by 7.

Funny game 2. Chiefs (3-3) v Raiders(2-3). Beleive or not, they are playing for the division lead. No other comments. Chiefs by 7.

Funny game 3. Patriots (6-0) v Dolphins (0-6). Perhaps the Fins need some rest, so just let the week go with out a play and give the game to the pats. At least they will avoid a crushing defeat and in return earn another week of rest. Sorry Fins Fans. But People, this is the NFL. Remember Vikes beating the Bears last week. Pats by 14.

Funny game 4. Fins (0-6) v Rams (0-6). Oops that's not gonna happen ever this season. Damn, I think the NFL should open a slot during the playoff, to have these (two 0-16 teams) playoff for the worst record in the history of the NFL. Yes, it is too early to make that call for two 0-16 teams, but I guarantee two 0-7 teams for week 8. Fins plays Pats(2), Giants, Bills(2), Eagles, Steels, Jets, Ravens and Bengals for the rest of the season, and the Rams plays Hawks(2), Browns, Saints, 49ers, Falcons, Bengals, Packs, Steels and Cardinals. Actually you know what, Rams actually have a chance to make to the playoffs with 8-8. They can win 8 games of the remaining 10 (2 defeats against Packs and Steels, and win the rest). I listen too much Pink Floyd - High Hopes.

Real Game 1. Colts (5-0) v Jags(4-1). Yes this one is a real game. I think this is going to be an upset of the colts by the jags. Both teams are coming from a bye-week, but Jags play at home and only the Steelers have allowed lesser points per game than them. Nevertheless, Colts are undefeated, but Jags are on 4-game-winning streak as well. Although I (and all of us) have no doubt that the Colts are a better team, I am just gonna have to pick Jags this week to win by 3.

Real Game 2. Steelers (4-1) v Broncos (2-3). Three defeats in a row, Broncos are playing for respect and when in such a tough division, they are actually playing for life. Steelers' only challenge in the division is Ravens, which is an average team this year unlike last year. With Mcnair sidelining every other week, i don't see Ravens as any threat. I am gonna have to pick the Broncos win this game by 3 just because they are playing at home (look the fan is yapping again), and "Revenge" from the games two ago. Another revenge game - Please Laugh at this joke. Thank you very much.

Others:
I am dropping Bears for the first time from my Picks. I still think Vikings win last week was against a weak Bears. Cowboys are much much better offensive team than the Bears against them. Falcons v Saints is just another division game, which's result is going to make no difference in the end.

Games to Watch by time.

Sunday Matinee and Daytime
Matinee: Bucs v Lions. Cards v Skins. Watch the game-breaks to NE v Fins for Brady's masterful plays.
DayTime: Bears v Eagles
or Just just take a Dasain Break and play some "Falash" or "Kitti" (preferred) the whole day while the TV is on for highlights for all 12 games.

Sunday Night: You don't want to miss Steels v Broncos. Bijaya Dasami. Some Beer, Khashi ko Masu, and Bronco Game.

Monday Night: Post Bijaya Dasami game. Colts v Jags. Even Maa Durga will be watching this game, mates!
