I would also disagree with Mr. Lal and agree with the rest of the commentators here in this thread.
People like CK Lal looked down upon people who would work in the food industry. He is sort of discouraging people to work like that.
No work is big or small, prestigious or disgraceful.
The labor force contribute more to Nepal than so called professionals, in regards to remmitance. (there was an article in Himal sometime ago ).
But one thing for sure, those of us who would not do such works in Nepal, would do in the US.
Somebody should forward this thread to him.
