IMHO, it was bit premature for Nobel Committee to award peace prize to Al Gore. Existence of global warming itself or the anthropogenic cause of global warming may go down in the history as one of the biggest hoax. Remember global cooling that we were supposed to fear duing '80?

Cautioning on the err side is good but FEAR MONGERING is another.

Even if global warming is real, Al Gore has done more damage to this cause by politicizing this issue. Global warming has become a new religion - if you don't buy this argument you are probably a right wing nut.
