I agre with somethings that Bathroomcoffee, MadDogg, CopyCat and the others have said.
Lets look inside of us all, and reflect on what we believe.
I am a Thapa, born as a Hindu in the land of Buddha.
I was raised to be tolerant of others, be kind to my neighbours and respect my elders.
If someone were to slap my cheek, give them my other cheek. Take care of my family
as they grow old.
I wish I could live like that in reality.
But we all are guilty at some point.
There are somethings in our culture that in the core of my heart I feel is Wrong.
In the culture I was raided, people are not born equal.
Some are more equal than others, while some are above the law (be it family status or money).
I hope most of you agree with me till this point.
We all know how Shah Dynasty united Nepal. Many people (of different cast
and ethinicity) were "fored" to be united. Dont you agree? Kathmandu was ruled by the Newars?
What the the heart of the question?

Do we want peace in Nepal?
Is that among the one true wish we all have.
I am sure we will not take this in a practicle sense.
But if we could imagine for one second, that Buddha was alive today.
Or Gandi was one of you.
How would they adress the issue?

I am no expert.
My opinion is, if we want peace then we should act like we want it, we should
live like we want it.
Forgive the ones that have done us wrong, for us Hindus that is among the highest form
of Religious expression.
We need to give a message of Peace and Love. We should treat everyone as equal.
Blame gets us nowhere.
Punish all the people that have done us wrong or you think have done wrong. Hang them, kill them...
Is that peace?
We need to learn to live together.
If you want one Nepal, united as brothers and sisters.
You should forgive our brother and sisters, and spread a message of peace.
What we NEED is a nonviolent revolution, wich I believe is the only solution for our country.

We should so what Gandi did in India, what Martin Luther did in the USA
and many others that my ignorant mind hasnt heard about.
If only we can look inside our heart, and understand that we all Nepali share
the same Land, the same problem, similar cultures...we need to see each other as equals.
(Cast, religion, Royal family, Maobadi, Netas, we are all Nepali, well until right now.

You have the power.
One person can change history!
power of one
