The question is, do you think the people of Darjeeling & Sikkim care about merging with Nepal??? Folks in Sikkim are pretty well off. They have decent jobs, nice houses and most folks have a car. Now why would folks from Sikkim who are living peacefully want to join Nepal whose Govt. is a joke and un-peaceful all the time? As far as I know, a lot of folks in Nepal think people from Darjeeling are no good. I have seen & heard many folks in Ktm say these guys from Darj are hawa and these gals from Darj have loose character. And most of these folks have double standards. BTW, I am from Ktm.
