National pride, who says? We are supporting because we need something to cheer up. We are supporting because we think prashant is a better singer. We are supporting because we watched indian idol and we saw that a guy named prashant who happened to be nepali speaking, is being continiously critisized and sidlined by the organisers. We are supporting Prashant because We also want to give out a clear message that no racism and no domination will be tolerated. out of many reasons, that we are supporting prashant, if you come up with some reasons that validate your thinking so be it. we support parshant!!! National pride, is a completely different issue, but one cannot deny the fact that this is also a message to all the good and hard working people in Nepal that if they do something good then Nepalese public throught the world is there to back them up.
