A few months ago NBC broadcasted catching the Predators and there was a Nepali guy arrested. There were several threads in Sajha about that. Many condemned this Nepali guy and said that he has embarrassed the Nepali community. However, today ABC broadcasted investigation on Catching the Predators. It focused on Murphy, Texas. The officers involved said that it was more like a show that law-enforcement program. NBC producers directed how the officers should act and present themselves. In Murphy, the Police chief is under fire and the guy who approved the program has already resigned. All the so called “predators” have the charges against them dropped. What does it tell us? Entrapment is entrapment no matter who does it and for no matter what the situation is. I hope the case against the Nepali guy is dropped and he gets his life back. For those who were up in arms labeling him guilty before the trial, shame on you. Catching the Predators is a stunt/show for fame and nothing else Watch 20/20 on 9/7/2007 @ ABC
