Their moral codes, way of life, and overal "clean" living put us to shame. If sacrificing a couple of goats solved the problem in their minds, then let them have at it. Just because they go about things differently does not make them WRONG. Who says we are correct and have any right to criticize their beliefs and actions? I met some hindus when I stayed in Nepal who invited me as a guest to their home in Kathmandu, and I backpacked with a buddhist local for about a week. To the person who said it's one thing to "kill" an animal for food; think about the "goat" before you take your next bite of dead flesh from the animal that was killed for your food. There is NO DIFFERENCE. Whether for food or sacrifice, it is wrong. What makes one thing worse than the next. NOTHING. You guessed it: I am VEGAN and against the suffering and slaughtering of any animal. For your health and nutrition and for sparing the environment, there are thousands of other food choices out there. Make the switch, I did.
