okay jokes apart, let me say what i actually feel about this: don't really wanna exasperate anyone, but i don't see anything wrong in making narayanhity president's house or something of such sort. i am all up for preserving greeneries and space in KTM so if they leave the space in and around the palace as it is, convert some of the aesthetically pleasing sites and assets of historical importance into museums in part or in whole and build a presidential house somewhere as a part of the whole property, i am fine with that. while i do understand the acerbic criticisms on the issue and frustration in our part against the corrupt politicians and sly maoists, i do also understand that 'president' is someone who will be elected by 'Nepali' people and hence is a 'representation' of a democratic Nepal in itself. narayanhity will be of nepal and nepalese. on a more serious note: how many of you would still condemn this proposal if YOU were to become the president ?
