Yes, economic broad band plan in Nepal is very bad and very slow. No better speed than dial up. I tried BroadVoice with Wlink broad band (128K) but no success. Because of upload speed only one way communication was possible. Even if you get 128K plan, upload speed is very low like 16K-30K which is not enough for VOIP. Above all, VOIP is illegal in Nepal. So, be careful in using VOIP in Nepal. So, if one can get good broad band in Nepal then you can use VOIP like Vonage, BroadVoice etc. BroadVoice even offer unlimited call to US, Canada, Europe etc. in like 20+ dollars.
