Puntedamai/Laborperm/ and those in the know-how 1. I did call USCIS but like Laborperm said, the customer service lady could only verify what’s in the system, which is case received and pending. But she did acknowledge that a lot of time the service centers does not immediately update the approval/denial info. And there is no other way to know about it except to take that consultancy’s word for it. My company is willing to transfer my H1 and I want to do it asap, but I need that approval notice, since they say it is approved. If it was just pending I could have done it. Regarding the pay stub, since I have not started my H1, the pay stub is not necessary. If need be, I can show my OPT pay stub. Also, if I ask them to fax/post my approval notice, wouldn’t they know that I am about to make a move? Will they even give that to me smoothly? Anyone been in such scenario? 2. What would you guys choose? A decently paid job with steady growth prospect or murky job scenario with good amount of risk but good pay and a prospect of much more in 2-3 years time. 3. Anyone in here doing SAP FI/CO? How difficult is it to land a job? How intense is the course? Is it good idea to leave a decently paying job to jump on this bandwagon? Thanks for your feedback!
