Australia's market for professional jobs is no different than that of the modern economy; employers look for: +above average grade +well-rounded +good inerpersonal skills +right skills for the job +good communicator in English (verbal+written) +neat in apperance The same can be said for the North American or the European job market. That said, the corporate employers really don't care if you're of Nepalese heritage, Norwegian or African. All you need is some evidence that you've got talent potential. I've worked both in North America and now here for some years, and from what I've seen- they're both equally competitive in terms of pay package for new graduates. There is a also the looming question of ease in applying for residency in Australia as opposed to the US, but that you can research elsewhere. Good luck! -JB
