World mass communication of 21st century has made world a very small place and yet a lot of communities in most of the least developed countries like Nepal are far away from the reach of the information and communication facilities. If we look at the development of mass communication in Nepal, state owned mass communication mediums are not sufficient and their effectiveness is quite low baglunffm1ggggg.gif Even if there had been a boom in this sector after the restoration of democracy in 1990, most of the privately owned radio and television stations are still focused around major city centers. It is a bitter truth that a lot of the rural communities in Nepal are beyond the reach of the major television, radio or newspapers networks due to geographical isolation, poverty and illiteracy. To remove that problems Baglung FM is being established and operated.http://www.baglungfm.org.np/ The available technology and the reach of the FM radio, the programs produced and broadcast by these radio stations can immensely contribute to the development of the local community and the nation itself by increasing the reach to the information, knowledge and entertainment. With these facts in mind, and to include the local community of Baglung and nearby areas into the national grid of mass communication,Baglung FM is being established and operated.Programs of this station are focused towards informing people about national and international messages, to integrate the communities into the mainstream of development and to make the communities self-Dependant.This FM station is located in the Baglung and can be heard in districts like Baglung, Parbat and Myagdi. After the establishment of this FM we are hoping to make promotion of those important religious and tourist sites which are not found anywhere in the world.which are still beyond the publicity they are. Damodar Kunda, Muktichetra, Muktinath Temple, Gupteshwor Cave, Galeshwor Temple, Kalika Bhagawati Temple etc. deepest gorge “andha Galchi”, Rupse waterfall, Dhwalagiri Mountain, Gurja Mountain, Dhorpatan national wildlife reserve, Pachese. We hope this community based Radio FM make all the dreams of dhaurlagiri peoples success and lunch such programs which make satisfactory to all.we are in wait and look approach. Also thanks to my friends hari karki making his efforts to lunch first radio website:Power by http://cyberbeni.com
