If you're not interested in Harry Potter it is your prerogative. To really understand its appeal to people both young and old...and of all races..you simply have to read it. Some people just aren't interested in reading books and that's fine, some just prefer other kinds of books and that's fine as well. However, I like the series and think that it is one of the best series ever written. It is right up there next to trilogies like Lord of the Rings and others.... But if you want to know what it is about.. I could tell you the whole story in five minutes. The plot is really simple but its appeal is vast....
