meek_misfit Ji, I have to respectfully disagree with you. Jimmy Page played 12 strings in very few songs. 'Stairway to Heaven' is probably the prominent one. Similarly, David Gilmore played very few songs with 12 strings - not even 'Wish you were here'. Gilmore plays his Fender Stratocaster in almost every songs. I have seen him (Pink Floyd reunion with Rodger Waters) in Live 8 concert in Hyde Park, London. They played bunch of songs none were in 12 strings. I don't know much about John Frusciante(RHCP), but I have heard almost every songs by RHCP, and I don't think 12 strings is his primary choice of guitar. SS
