Gahugoro, newars had separation of duties according to cast back then but the point is they were happy - ruled by benovolent king and the kingdom was prospering and flourishing. It's only after the advent of immigrants from outside whose sole intention was to plunder and amass as much as possibly through any means that the quality of life in kathmandu began to go down.
