Dear all, There seems to be so many Nepali professors in US universities these days. I am just thinking if we together could initiate to start a new university or transform existing university according to what we have seen in US universities. Main changes being: 1. Various departments located in the same premises. 2. Students (undergraduate or graduate) being able to chage their major. 3. Students being able (or encouraged) to work on campus. 4. Scholarships through research funds (funds initially directed from US/Europe interested to research about NEPAL) You can add others in the list. I think it is quite possible in NEPAL. If we are able to tie-up with some good university in US, graduates may even be eligible to apply to US or other countries for that matter for jobs directly. Opinions please. Thanks.
