Hippo Bro, It really doesn' t matter where you come. Coz he may have connecting flight from chicago going to houston or somewhere south. I was in same dilemma when one of my friend came here on business trip. But they didn' t ask him a thing so yes he can come few days ahead of time and can come to chicago no matter where his final destination is.
