I might be wrong but from my understanding you should be fine. I had a cousin leave for Nepal and return to US while she was on her OPT. Hence, I'd say as long as you have the documents the immigration wouldn't really hammer you down. I'd also suggest that you talk it over with your Int'l student adviser.
