It's always a plesure to read articles by APJ. I read this article few months ago. Though the message is clear and Pres. APJ is the one with vision and great zeal to build up the nation, the very first para bothered mer for a while..."Yet we have not done this to any other nation. We have not conquered anyone. We have not grabbed their land, their culture, their history and tried to enforce our way of life on them.." I might be wrong, but did not India captured Sikkim. And although India and China both are the Sleeping giants ( when they wake up or shiver, there will be a tremble all around the globe--economically), we cannot disagree with it's Big Brother Attitude. Most of the south asian nations cannot remain away from the influence and dominance of India--a mere hegemony. If you don't agree ask Bangladeshis, ask Srilankans.
